Our QC Procedure

Inspection at Every Stage

Quality is the reason Gulf buyers re-order. Our inspection plan follows the material from the quarry or factory to the container door:

  1. Block / batch selection — marble and granite blocks are chosen for colour, pattern and soundness; tiles and sanitary ware are booked from a single production batch where possible.
  2. Processing checks — thickness and calibration (tiles ±0.5–1 mm), flatness, polish gloss readings, resin quality and edge finish.
  3. Grading & shade matching — slabs are graded (premium / standard / commercial), numbered and dry-laid; tiles are checked for shade, calibre and rectification.
  4. Sanitary ware tests — glaze defects, flush performance, trap seal and fitting accessories.
  5. Packing inspection — ISPM-15 fumigated wood, foam/plastic between polished surfaces, strapping, corner protection and carton marking.
  6. Loading photographs — slab numbers, crate marks, container number and seal shared before sailing.

Independent pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or your nominated agency can be arranged at the buyer’s cost. Laboratory test reports for natural stone (ASTM C97, C99, C170, C503/C615) and tiles (ISO 10545 series) are available on request.
