FAQ

Buying from G.M. Marble World

Do you export marble and granite from India to Dubai and other GCC countries?

Yes. We export marble, granite, porcelain and ceramic tiles and sanitary ware from India to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain, shipping from Mundra, Kandla or Nhava Sheva on FOB, CFR or CIF terms.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Normally one 20ft container per order. Different products — for example granite slabs, floor tiles and sanitary ware — can be mixed in one container. Smaller trial lots can be discussed for new buyers.

Are the prices on the website final?

No. Prices shown are indicative FOB ranges in USD. The final price depends on grade, size, thickness, finish, quantity, packing and destination port. Request a quote for an exact CIF/CFR price.

How long does shipping to the GCC take?

Production usually takes 2–4 weeks after order confirmation. Sailing time from India’s west coast is roughly 4–7 days to Jebel Ali, 3–6 days to Oman and 7–14 days to Saudi, Qatari, Kuwaiti and Bahraini ports, depending on routing.

Which payment terms do you accept?

Typically 30% advance by T/T with the balance against scanned copy of the bill of lading, or an irrevocable L/C at sight confirmed by a reputable bank. Terms are agreed per order.

Can I get samples before ordering?

Yes. We courier small polished samples or tile pieces to the GCC. Courier charges are usually adjusted against your first container order.

Can you mix marble, granite, tiles and sanitary ware in one container?

Yes. Mixed containers are common. We plan loading by weight and volume so the container stays within payload limits.

How are slabs and tiles packed?

Slabs travel in fumigated wooden A-frames or bundles with plastic/foam between polished faces; tiles in cartons on wooden pallets; sanitary ware in 5-ply cartons on pallets.

Do you provide test reports?

Yes. Natural stone test reports (ASTM), tile reports (ISO 10545) and sanitary ware reports (EN) are available for most products.

Do you offer private-label packing?

Yes, for tiles and sanitary ware, subject to minimum order quantities.

Which currency do you quote in?

We quote in US dollars (USD). AED or SAR equivalents can be shown for reference.
